Main Charachter and other Myth

Undisputed captain of the ship “L’Avventuriera” and lord of a city called Porto Spicia (from which he’s been missing some years), on the Vodacce Coast, a security and a position he’s given up long ago, in exchange for the more precious liberty and glory.

A great swordsman and leader of men, can keep order on a ship with a crew of almost three hundred souls, amongst the most faithful and capable the sea has to offer. He lost his right eye in a fight when he was a twenty-year-old captain on his first command, and has not forgotten this slight – sometimes indulges in old memories. A heavy smoker and drinker, an intelligent theologician and orator, Courageous to the point of recklessness, megalomaniac, well-learned… he also has some good points, like always putting his men (and occasionally the world) first, and  himself second.

Ussuran skin-changer of great power, she is capable of mutating into the animals that make up her menagerie. She is friends with a white ermine called Spiga ( ear of corn) which follows her almost everywhere perching on her shoulders, and with which she can talk, thanks to her powers which come directly from the spirit of Mother Ussura. Tall, beautiful, fair-haired and pale-skinned, with piercing green eyes (a symbol of her magic), she’s a great friend of Gord, his confidante and officer on his ship. She is Well-learned but also down-to-earth, jovial but also discreet. she has little patience for those who do not master their own destiny (such as many earthbound ladies) and is a great drinker of vodka

Young and plucky castillan midshipman (boy?) he lives and works on the Avventuriera since he was eleven years old. Now he’s sixteen, his fighting capabilities have improved a great deal. Over his skill with knives, another welcome feature of his is that his small stature and frame make him one of the more agile men onboard.
He is considered the ship’s mascot, and has an innate capability for finding trouble that his captain patiently bears.
He is aggressive, hard-headed, and maybe a little naive and stupid; but he’s a fun guy to be with, and has strong friendships with many of the sailors, and with gord to whom he’s faithful beyond doubt.
He can’t read, write or count well, and he seems to shun everything needs more than ten minutes of explaining, but he’s young and eager, and for some reason gord does not seem to want to get rid of him. There is also an old “flame” looking for him… who also seems not to want to be rid of him, though in a more possessive fashion.
