Beautiful Castilla

Beautiful Castilla

…is the turning point of our history and the thean religion; a nation, as the masked swordsman Ortica’s so fond of told us (then again, El Vago is Zorro!)  so brutally trod underfoot by a border war from the Montaigne (the french) that, being allies and nice neighbours, have been branded as heretics first by the third prophet, then by Cardinal Verdugo for the witching arts of their overlords, and they still haven’t gotten over it. Haven’t even tried, actually. Add a great wish to conquer some sweet fertile sun-drenched lands most everybody likes, and here you have a war spanning the last five years.
A little Geography.
Kingdom of Castilla
Capital – Port of San Cristobal
Monarch – King Salvador Sandoval The Good
Borders – north; montaigne empire.
East:  Vodacce principalities
South: Bay of Boca de Cielo, the sky’s mouth
west: The Frothing sea.

Cardinal Verdugo, counsellor of the Castillan king and cardinal of the thean church seems keen on giving his contribution to the military effort trying to push far-fetched plans of lousy strategic value and deciding strange things to do with military letters from the front, while the heartland, through the good viceroy Don Andres has a new ally in the person of Gord di Falcovia, Pirate, and his crew.

Castilla is a representation of spain, but don’t be surprised if you’ll recognize some mexican taste in the costumes or architecture, of some traces of Argentinian Pampa or Cuban ways, for, as we say, the world of seventh sea is a “race soup” a world with many cultures mixed under single banners… it is a thing you’ll be seeing many times.
